So I replied like this:

Yay! But what is the gift card for? Is it to spend on deviantart? Like, maybe it would be better for someone else than me? I don't know what it's for.

Could you tell me before 24 hours is up just in case it expires?

(Yes, the poem took me about 10 minutes to write). Anyone noticed what I did? Feeling FAR too smug about this, it really isn't that funny!

Life update: I'm now a qualified science teacher and very busy but enjoying it on the whole. What are other people up to?

I don't like any form of hatred in the slightest. I don't like it when someone is hated for their race, religion, sexuality, gender or whatever. I also don't like it when people are hated for their political opinions.

It's good to see now days (at least here in the UK) that most (not all) people won't say or think hateful things about someone's race, religion, sexuality or gender. It's not perfect on any of those things, but we're getting there.

But hateful comments about political opinions are still extremely common. I'm not even talking about extremist groups - it's very common to mock or belittle someone because they are simply a "liberal" or "conservative" - why?! Most who select sides in politics do so because they want to see the world become a better place, they just disagree with others on the best way to make that dream a reality. Why can't we learn to respect that? Why do so many struggle to disagree nicely when it comes to politics? Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and shouldn't be mocked for holding them.

If I'm not mistaken, this is my 100th deviation if journals are counted. Praise be that we use a base-10 counting system and a nice round number has come up ^_^

Anyway, I have finally worked out how many chapters will be in TGL. There will be nine, and with the exception of one small section, they are all written and ready to be released. Chapter Five will be released tomorrow, then they will be released each day until it is finished, which means the final chapter will be released this FRIDAY 31ST. Get ready to celebrate!

Seriously though, if you are following my story it would be nice if you could leave a comment with your thoughts, positive or negative, maybe at the end of the story if nothing else. Thanks to those who are following it - I know it's been a VERY long time since I last released a story so I was not really sure how many people who used to read my stories would still be around, but it's nice to know there are a few people reading them  

As for future plans, I currently have none. This story took forever to write because life is busy and I was deliberately quiet that I was doing it so as to not disappoint anyone. At the moment I'm not closed off to the idea of writing another fanfiction, but I'm struggling for ideas and time, especially since in a week I will start a new job which I expect to be the most stressful year of my life (I'm about to become a Newly Qualified Teacher in the UK) so yeah...

Well....

I knew I'd always be here writing this eventually, I just never knew when. It has been over four years since I last released any Taismo fanfiction. Some people really liked my last work. I have no idea how many of those people are still around really, I'm not all that active on dA any more.

Since I last released my fanfiction I have started a degree, completed a degree, then qualified as a teacher. That's some scary stuff right there. I'd never even met some of my closest friends the last time I released a Taismo fanficiton.

Anyway, enough of that. This is a little different to my previous works. It will be multiple chapters long. I have written the vast majority of the chapters already because I hate the idea of leaving stories incomplete. This has been a work in progress that has been going on for maybe a year, possibly more, but I never mentioned it because I never wanted to announce I was going to publish a story and then not finish. But now I can say that it is close enough to completion that it will be released!

The working title is Family but I'm not sure if I like it. The story will focus primarily on Tails and Cosmo's young children, though there will be parts to focus on Tails and Cosmo too. If anyone does have any great title ideas, let me know.

First chapter will be released very soon, date tbc. Possibly tomorrow. Will keep anyone who cares updated on the progress.
